For the third week in a row, a Smoky Bear took one of the top spots.

You chose Sevier County's Dexter Robbins as the defensive player of the week. He beat out Jake Carideo of South Doyle, Webb's Todd Kelly and Powell's Devin Scott.

Robbins made 14 tackles and forced a fumble while helping the Smoky Bears pull out a 23-22 win over Jefferson County.

Montvale Airpark is home to pilots and their planes

Some golfers live on a golf course, some boaters live on a lake, and some East Tennesseans live on a runway.

Thomas Clanton's enjoys living at Montvale Airpark in Maryville.

"I've got a lot of flight ratings and I've always worked around airports. I just love it. I'm living my dream now," he said.

People park their planes at their houses instead of at rented hangars.

"It makes it so convenient. You can pull it out and fly it right here at the house," Clanton said.

Tommy Rowe moved there almost 20 years ago.

The CDC recommends that people get their shots as soon as possible. It suggests everyone from six months old and older get a yearly vaccine.

One local flu shot clinic opens Tuesday.
