Hundreds of people said 'good-bye' Thursday evening to 16-year-old William Blount High School student Amelia Keown.

Keown died in a car wreck Tuesday on Highway 411.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a trooper clocked the other driver speeding before the  head-on collision.

Keown was a leader on her high school's dance team and her teammates will honor her Friday before William Blount High's football game at 7:30 p.m.

The preacher at her service told the packed church it wasn't time for crying, but laughter.

Because that's how Amelia went through life-- laughing. And dancing.

"She was strong and intelligent," says sister Macy Moore. "She's the best big sister anyone could have asked for."

But she wasn't just Moore's big sister.

"She was my best friend, my role model," says Moore.

And Keown wasn't just Macy's role model. For the second time in 10 years, the dance team Keown loved awarded the title 'spirit-leader' to a teammate.

"She was just some who shines, who is a beautiful person inside and out," says dance coach Amber Young.

Beautiful, and funny. Her dance-family calls Amelia their 'practical jokester.'

"Amelia always wanted to make somebody else happy, and make somebody else smile," says Yong.

Amelia loved to dance. And as one her classmates put it in a poem, she did it "like a queen."

And that enthusiasm inspired her sister to become a teammate too.

"She was the one who convinced me to try out. I never could have done it if it wasn't for her," says Moore.

"It was our bonding time. I'm happy that I did it. Because if I wouldn't have had then I never would have got to spend that time with her."

Before the crowded church the preacher opened the service with scripture from Ecclesiastes.

'A time  to weep/ a time to laugh/ a time to mourn/ and a time to dance.'

And her friends say now, more than ever, is Amelia's time to dance.
